The Flexible Overhead Traffic Counter

Overview

VidiGates is Quividi's fully programmable overhead traffic counter. VidiGates uses a ceiling-mounted video sensor (webcam or IP camera) to deliver an extremely flexible real-time traffic counting solution that seamlessly interfaces with VidiCenter, Quividi's datamining service.

VidiGates relies on Quividi's established video processing technologies to offer a versatile and easy-to-configure overhead traffic counter. Virtual "gates" can be drawn using a simple web-based graphical interface; up to eight concurrent gates can be defined for each installation. Gates will count the number of crossings (both in the IN and the OUT direction) and report the footfall data both locally and to VidiCenter.

Simply use VidiGates to count the total traffic of your venue, or sections within, and deploy VidiReports on your point of interest to qualify your traffic by patterns and demographics. Then log on to VidiCenter to obtain a real-time quantitative and qualitative analysis of your venue's population.
