About Quividi

History

Quividi is a privately-held audience measurement company created in July 2006 in Paris, France, by computer vision and marketing specialists.

In just five years Quividi has become the most deployed measurement solution in the Digital Signage market, with more than 190 end-customers and 50 partners across 35 countries.

In March 2009, Media6, Europe’s leading manufacturer of POP material, entered Quividi's capital. The strategic investment aligns with Quividi’s goal to extend its measurement capabilities to all forms of out-of-home media supports. Media6 complements Quividi's development plan with a in-depth knowledge of outdoor communication strategies and extraordinarily well-tested communication channels.

Vision

"Quividi has a wonderful product and they worked with us to ensure that we were getting great results from it. Their after service is fantastic."
Chad Stewart, CEO - PMedia Japan

Quividi's vision is to develop affordable and effective measurement solutions so that the widespread availability of audience data will render point-of-sale and out-of-home marketing strategies as accurate and accountable as their Internet counterparts.

Relying on proprietary image processing technology, Quividi offers an outstanding software solution that can be installed on a wide range of platforms and, most notably, on standard digital signage players. Integration with existing hardware is a key factor for affordability. Quividi's software accurately measures and qualifies the audience and traffic of any out-of-home communication support; real-time data allow the medium to adapt its content to the audience profile.

To make its solution accessible to non-IT specialists, Quividi has encompassed all of the above software into VidiCube, a tiny appliance, that can be placed on ceilings or next by about any element that is looked at: displays, posters, displays, screens, shelves, fixtures, in-store animations, windows, and even paintings in galleries.

Technology

Quividi’s technology has been developed entirely in-house, with the goal of minimizing CPU requirements and allowing the use of even low-cost hardware components. Combining state-of-the-art algorithms in pattern recognition, movement estimation and feature analysis, VidiReports is a face detection solution that estimates with a great accuracy the exposure of human faces to a point of interest.

VidiReports is complemented by VidiGates, a powerful trafic counter solution that counts the people crossing several virtual gates and can thus assess the number of visitors and directions taken by visitors of a public place.

VidiCenter, Quividi’s back-office platform, is VidiReports' companion solution for data analysis and storage. Offered as a secure web-based service, VidiCenter is a complete industrial solution for the out of home audience measurement needs. Vidicenter has been designed to safely handle to large volumes of incoming data and simultaneous connections; it can integrate third party data such as media playlists and automatically generate fully customized reports.

VidiCube, is the industrial appliance bringing together all of the Quividi software into a tiny, turnkey form factor, designed to operate 365/24/7 and to be easily moved around.
